The IDEA Hub Fall Open House was a well-attended success. Attendees met some of the fellows of the fall cohort and students currently applying for fall funding and learned about their social-benefiting and/or creative enterprises. Many toured the incubator spaces of the OpenLab at the Digital Arts and New Media Center and learned about the other incubation spaces on campus. To learn how you can get involved in supporting the fellows and their projects, such as by mentoring, or how to submit ideas for community projects for IDEA Hub fellows to pursue, contact any of the following IDEA Hub governing board members:

  • Chris Benner, Everett Program and Community Media Mapping Lab director, cbenner@ucsc.edu
  • Sue Carter, CIED and S-lab director, sacarter@ucsc.edu
  • Rachel Deblinger, David Kirk Digital Scholarship Commons and VizLab director, rdebling@ucsc.edu
  • Jennifer Parker, OpenLab director, parker1@ucsc.edu
